We at RAM Windows and Doors are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic recent college graduate or student to join our team as an Entry Level Manufacturing Production Planner/Scheduler. This is a hands-on job that requires the employee to not only work at a desk but also to be able to navigate and organize in our warehouse. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a degree(or be pursuing a degree) in supply chain, industrial engineering or a related field and will be quick on their feet and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Salary: $22-25 Hour
Responsibilities:
- Develop production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers
- Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure that materials and resources are available when needed
- Track production progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Communicate regularly with other departments to ensure that production is meeting customer requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Learn and perform other tasks as required by the company
- Organize and navigate the warehouse as needed
- OT as needed on a weekly basis
Qualifications: Minimum:
- High school diploma, Associates Degree or relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Good understanding of manufacturing process and production scheduling
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or industrial engineering
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
